CSS With Colour: More Than Just Slice & Go

Social Warfare is the world's fastest and most intelligent social sharing plugin, engineered to increase social shares and drive traffic. Find out more.

CSS with Colour is more than a psd to html slicing service.  They like to think of themselves as a frontend development agency.

What exactly does that mean?

Simple.  In the world of psd to html slicing companies that seem to flood the internet like used cars, CSS with Colour is the brand new luxury BMW.

A Team of Experts Dedicated to Your Success

CSS with Colour goes beyond the traditional slicing services.  They dedicate themselves to the overall success of their customer’s websites.  They focus not only on creating valid html/xhtml but also focus on search engine optimization, mobile optimization, and printer optimization.

They commit themselves not just to completing a simple task for their customers but to actually seeing them through to success.  They become a part of the team.  Their customers aren’t clients…they’re partners.

They work with and consult the project’s designer, programmer, manager and all other members of the team.  They’re not a slice-and-go company.  They commit themselves to you from the start of the project until the day it is finished and published.

CSS with Colour also supports several top rated content management systems.  They can easily transform your design into a WordPress theme or a Joomla template.  They’re also working hard to add support for other content management systems like Typolight, Vanilla Forum and others.  This service is the perfect option for those wishing to build a blog into their website or set up dynamic pages.

They also offer easy access to support options including email, Skype, GTalk and even Twitter.  When you’re working with them, you won’t have to fight to get in touch with them.  They’ll be there to help you through your project every step of the way.

Here’s a quick review of some of their key features:

  • Cross Browser Compatibility
  • Strong and Maintainable Code
  • Search Engine Optimized Markup
  • Valid W3C html/xhtml and CSS
  • Support for Major Content Management Systems
  • Mobile Browser Optimization
  • Printer Optimization

Here’s the bottom line: If you’re looking for someone to partner with you and get your design transformed into a professional website then you’ve found who you’re looking for. They’ve set up sites both in the United States and around the world.  They have lots of satisfied customers that span from small businesses to international banks and they’re standing ready to satisfy you today.

be careful with these psd to html website creators.. this one sounds ok, but MOST of them just hack together a website and call it done. They are horribly coded and not standard compliant by any means. At least this one seems to use some CSS and real coding.. but still – be careful.

There is generally a reason why a “real developer” is more expensive than a PSD to HTML guy.. because a real developer really builds your website from the group up the right way.

You can still submit a psd for your layout.. but instead of just splicing it, they actually code a real website to make it look like it was just spliced

It seems to me that this service is not so much about writing out compliant code but is more so directed at efficiently splicing your .psd in a way that will allow efficient structured coding.

For example, I could create a psd myself, and I could code it all myself as well. Splicing however is something that always leaves me a bit confused. Knowing where to splice and how many pieces to make out of an element is just a pain.

So the way I see it is that if you are proficient enough to write your own code, but not splice the image then this type of service can be very useful.

      That’s my 2 cents worth. 😉
